EU LIFE FIT Prioject
Rail-Flowparticipatedin an EU-funded project to shift freight from road to rail — reducing air pollution and energy consumption across Europe.

Project Duration
Total Budget
European Contribution
Freight transport across the European Union continues to grow year after year, and the vast majority of it still moves by road. This puts enormous pressure on infrastructure, traffic, and air quality.
Roughly 500,000 premature deaths per year in Europe are linked to air pollution. Around 30% of that pollution is caused by freight transport.
Shifting freight from road to rail is one of the most effective ways to reduce emissions, energy consumption, and the social cost of moving goods. LIFE FIT was built to make that shift practical for small and medium-sized transport companies.
