Since its foundation in 2020, the freight-tech start-up has grown strongly. In order to meet steady growth in the future, Dr. Alexander Below will take on the role of Chief Product Officer at Rail-Flow from October 1st, 2022. 

Rail-Flow has not only grown in number of employees, but the platform has also expanded to a total of seven solutions. For the coming years, the start-up expects further scaling opportunities. To continue meeting market requirements, Dr. Alexander Below will join Osman Akdemir and Dominik Fürste in strengthening the management team of the young company as of October 1st, 2022. As Chief Product Officer, Dr. Alexander Below will be responsible for further functional advancement and new development of all Rail-Flow solutions.  

 Dr. Alexander Below has always pursued the ambition of combining the tradition of rail with digitalization in order to further increase the attractiveness and efficiency of this mode of transportation. He has been working in rail freight for 14 years and most recently established and expanded the area of digital transformation at DB Cargo as Chief Digital Officer. Thanks to his broad experience in the digitalization of rail transport, he was able to play a decisive role in shaping DB Cargo’s digital strategy during this time and successfully complete numerous digital projects.
